Firstly thank you for giving us a very useful video. I am actually interested to buy the Dell 2408WFP panal for both Editing and Gaming. I noticed that you have discussed few problems about the panal so did you get rid off them or there are still those problem exist??? Please inform me and help to make a better decision. (if you have any other recomendation you can tell me) thanx in advance.
[..YouTube..] i got this product about a month ago..simply amazing.. second to none monitor..besides the 30″ dell that is also ultrasharp..but just great..hihgly recoommend.. perfect viewing angles.

[..YouTube..] Speaking from experience i can reccomend dell, i’ve had a monitor from them for 5 years, it’s not got one dead pixel, and is as sharp and high quality as it ever was. Go for dell they have good reliability.

I’m 99% certain I’ll be buying this screen now, with revision A02 having input lag of ~30ms now apparently it brings the screen to the same level as a lot of other displays input lag-wise.
I just really want to know from someone who plays games a lot what kind of input lag is acceptable. Online gaming isn’t an issue here really.

I am thinking about purchasing this monitor,but I saw at the end of your video that you placed some negative comments.I was wondering if this monitor would be a good choice for gaming and a bit of casual web browsing?
[..YouTube..] Hi Rodney, wanted to know what model do you have for the Gateway monitor? since last year I’ve been looking at the XHD3000 which the great majority of peopole say it’s amazing and according to my research it is.
One huge flaw, it usually lasts 11-12 months and there’s always a problem, then people usually complain about Gateway’s supporty which most people say is non-existent.
Have you had any problems with them yet?

There were upgrade in A01 but I couldn’t find any details on it. A02 improve event more?
I’m thinking of ether this or DoubleSight DS-265W monitor whcih I can get at similar price. Dell have better contrast and DS have better lag input.
But I’d go for Dell in the lag have improve to a good level for its color. Pleae review soon!

In gaming the best possible choice is still a CRT with no input lag and low res = better FPS.
[..YouTube..] premium price? This is at the lower end of the spectrum, some places even selling it for $230, its a good monitor with a semi rare HDTV quality 16:9 aspect ratio, but it shouldt be at a premum price
[..YouTube..] Well of course it will won’t cost much NOW. I bought it last year when it was the latest ultrasharp so yes it was a premium price BACK THEN. The model cost $800.
